Privacy
Short version: there are no accounts, we don't see your card, and we don't publish who paid.
What we store
- The statements, display names and links people post. These are public by design.
- Payment records from Stripe: session and payment IDs, amounts, refund and dispute status. Stripe handles your card and receipt; see Stripe's privacy policy for what they collect.
- A random anonymous browser identifier in a cookie, used to remember your reactions and to rate-limit abuse. We store a hashed form of it, not the raw value. Clearing cookies resets it.
- A hashed form of your IP address for rate limiting. Not stored raw.
- Reports you submit and our moderation decisions.
- Server logs for errors, without payment secrets or unnecessary personal data.
What we don't do
- We never display payer names, emails, or receipt details. “Posted as” is a label the poster chose.
- We never sell reactions or fabricate activity.
- Sharing never posts anywhere on your behalf; it uses your device's share sheet or copies a link.
- We don't fetch or scrape the links people submit.
Cookies
One functional cookie for the anonymous browser identity, and one for operators who sign in to moderation. No advertising trackers.
